On behalf of the Shan Government and people of the Federated Shan States, may I humbly convey to your Gracious Majesty our sincere and deep condolences to your Majesty's bereaved royal family. We empathize with your Gracious Majesty's royal family in your royal household's period of mourning. H.R.H. Princess Galyani Vadhana was a benevolent Grand Lady of admirable charater and was loved by Her Royal Highness's subjects for performing numerous outstanding humanitarian duties.

With God's Grace and Compassion we can rest assured that the most puzzling instances of human suffering will also be compensated by a good that outweighs the suffering.

May God provide solace in your Majesty's family period of grief.
