Drug lord and chemical weapons

The notorious drug baron and merchant of death, Wei-shu-kang, seems to be living a life of luxury under SPDC protection at an orange grove near Nam-oun village, Hsi-paw Township, Northern Shan States.

He is one of seven Drug lords on the Us most wanted lest, with a prize of 2 million dollars on his head. His activity has proliferated into (1) large dairy farm and an animal feed factory outside kengtung, (2) road construction between Yangon and Mandalay. For this construction of a 4-land highway, he has about 70-80 earth moving machinery.

His company, HongPang, has a Sprawling complex outside of Sagaing town, Mandalay Division. This complex is a top-secret area surrounded by high brick walls and an electrified inner fence. On the outside; a large bill-board with the words, “Hong Pang Electrical Appliances Company” is seen.

Of course this is only a front. An insider confides that chemical weapons for the Burmese army are manufactured at this location. Only Chinese experts are employed. Be fore the situation deteriorates any further, a UN weapons inspection team should be send in immediately.

Is the Burmese military involved in drug smuggling?

In 1973 when Gen. Than Shwe was a battalion commander fighting against the BCP (Burma communist Party), he went to live with Wang Gwe Da (a) Myint Lwin at the latter’s house in Tamonge village, kutkai Township, Northern Shan States for six months. Wang Gwe Da had large opium harvest annually.

Gen. Than Swe requested Brigadier Aye San, the 45 th Battalion of kutkai to transport this drug to Lashio. Two seats on every flight to Tachilek were reserved for the opium traffickers.

Two famous traffickers, Yang Pei Zung and Gao Chaing Yang collected opium from farmers around Tamonge and Shao Haw-Lone-Htang village. This opium is exchanged for gold bars at Tachilek.

Strange to say, the three opium warlords are even now attending the National Comvention in Yangon. Under Burmese names and in full Burmese attire, pink head-dress and slippers.

An Eye-witness Account

A few Years back, at Drug Kingpin Hkun Hsar’s house in Tachilek, Gen. Than Swe and Gen. Maung Aye met with a Nationalist Chinese General. At the Tachilek garrison and Gen. Maung Aye was another local commander of the Murng Ping garrison.

But most of the time Maung Aye was in Tachilek to talk business with the two Chinese opium traffickers, and also have a few drinks together and swapped dirty jokes.

A game of mahjong followed the laughter and merry-making. Once, just to while away the time, the KMT General offered Maung Aye an opium pipe. He drew a few puffs an exclaimed, “Hey! I can see seven lovely goddesses hovering all around me.” But he refused to be addicted to the stuff. He surmised that selling the opium that he brought was what matters.

When he was about to leave, Khun Sa presented him with several cases of Scotch whisky. Sometimes a few weeks passed by without any incident. Needless to say, before long a convoy of Burmese army trucks left Murng Peang for Tachilek. The whole cycle of evil is repeated all over again. Thus, the generals are infatuated with dollars and only a few top echelons amass large for tunes and living a life of luxury. The people of Burma remained poor and hungry.
